Designer Dawn Schwartz has always loved the whole idea of Jewelry, ever since she was a little girl. She remembers all of the trips into both her mother and grandmother’s jewelry boxes. That has not changed today, her company “The Bead Lady” designs was launched in the summer of 2000. While on a family vacation out West shortly after the loss of her father she wandered into a bead store, where she found something that actually took her mind off her loss. “It had been a very long time since I had seen such beautiful colors. Everything just seemed to bring me back to life. It is what I had been missing for so long.”

Dawn loves the idea of her clients waking up in the morning and putting on a piece from her collection to start the day. “I remember when I use to put my mother and grandmother’s jewelry on as a little girl”, she has said. “It made me feel like a princess, I have a picture of my daughter when she was 2 years old doing the same with my jewelry.”
